I’m a mom of two adorably crazy kids, and married to a pretty AWESOME husband who doesn’t mind that cookies have completely taken over all of our lives (in the best way possible).

I have always had a love for baking. Dating all the way back to when I was a little girl licking the spatula in my grandmother’s kitchen, it has always been a part of me. Leaning towards the artsy side, my evolution to becoming a cookier happened pretty naturally.

I attended pastry school at the Institute of Culinary Education back in 2009, where I learned everything from chocolate soufflé to sourdough bread, but cookie decoration was not part of the curriculum. It wasn’t until my first internship at a bakery, that I was introduced to the world of cookie decorating. When working in a busy bakery not everyone wants to stop what they are doing to take on the tedious task of individually hand decorating dozens of cookies.

Well in walks ME, the starry eyed intern. The veteran bakers were all too eager to pass on the timely task of filling those cookie cases. Needless to say, I. Was. Hooked. I absolutely loved tuning everything else out and creating edible art. I guess you can say it was love at first pipe.

I love decorating cookies and being able to merge my love for food and art. What I love even more is the smile on my clients’ faces when they see their ideas come to life. Whether it’s your child’s favorite cartoon character, or a personalized set celebrating your loved one’s accomplishments. I love seeing my creations bring joy. I hope to be able to share my love for the world of “cookie-ing” with you in the near future!
