The Power Of The Party Favor

The Power of the Party Favor

The end of a good birthday party is almost as important as the party itself. The party favor is the grand finale that can make or break the party you spend the past month planning. Not following? Ok let me set the scene….

Scenario 1:

The party is winding down and your saying your goodbyes. Birthday mom or dad is thanking you for coming and then hand your child their goody bag. Your pulling out of the parking lot and all of a sudden… BAM! You slam on the breaks as your ear drums are hit with the high pitch shrill of that plastic whistle. 5 min later your child is screaming because they are connected to their baby sister by the finger, totally defeated by that plastic finger trap. And then someone inevitably will get the bubblegum from the blow pop in their hair or worse on your car upholstery. You end up cursing the party parents for the remainder of the day.

Scenario 2:

Cake has been served and the party is coming to an end. Your saying goodbye, and are handed a perfectly packaged cookie (or cookies) as a party favor. You were then thanked for coming and you look down. Your kid is smiling ear to ear because maybe they are holding a custom cookie with their name on it, or a cookie with their favorite cartoon character. You walk to your car with your child skipping with joy next to you. Everyone is buckled up and ready to go home.

The car is quiet. Your kids are eating their cookies. You breath in the beautiful silence as you think to yourself “ Now, THAT was a great party”. The next day you might even reach out to the party parents to set up a playdate. Life. Is. Good.

A lot of people don’t realize the power of the party favor. They deserve more of your attention during the party planning. Anyone can slap together a goody bag filled with junk. Set your party apart with something that both kids and parents will appreciate. Custom cookies do just that! Lets be honest, that plastic whistle will be broken by the end of the evening. Maybe its an accident or maybe it finally drove you to insanity and met the bottom of your shoe. Either way it served very little purpose in its very short lifespan. Let me help you end your party on a sweet note that will leave both parents and children smiling.
